Last month, CASA was chosen as a $1,000 grant recipient from the 4th graders of Lothian Elementary School, as part of their Kids for Kids Fund program.

The Kids for Kids Fund program activates a philanthropic disposition in children through a school-based curriculum for 3-5th graders. During the program, students explore their unique stories, step into the shoes of others, and learn about local non-profits. In the end, they use their new knowledge and general expertise of being kids to make an informed decision about how to allocate $1,000.
